Museumkaart
Commercial / 2023
My museums visits often consist of impulsive drop-by’s rather than planned trips. That transfer from everyday hassle to something elevating, that was basically my pitch for this universal entrance ticket.
Shout out to Rijksmuseum Twenthe to let me get very close to the artworks. Talking about milimeters here.
Vaulie
Commercial / 2024
A fun luxury bag ad, discovered that the perception of gold has as much to do with black as with yellow.
All of Bach
Commissioned / 2022
In this film, I wanted to paint a house in light, the sun cutting through the not-yet existing window.
On set we had some impossible to insure instruments and a very big light on a crane that scared the kids but excited me.
Nationale Voorleesdagen
Commercial / 2023
I’ll admit, the art director painted the bear. This ad is super sweet, a bit too much for my taste. My original pitch had the room utterly thrashed, with broken toys, torn books and in the curtains a small erupting fire.
Fringe Festival
Commercial / 2019
This is quite old but I still get emails of people wanting to buy the tote bag with this print. We’ve run out, I’m sorry.
This moving print was everywhere throughout the city that summer. I forgot what the cat was called, but I remember he didn’t like the box and we spent the day making it seem otherwise.
